Our Wine Varietals

A varietal wine is a wine made from a single grape variety. In South America varietal wines are predominant, such as Malbec, Carmenere or Tannat.

Traditionally, wines from the old world tend to be "blends" or "cuvées", a mix of different grape varieties to favor the taste as well as the coloring of wines. Varietals or "single-grape-wines" predominate in the selection of wines from the new world.

Our premium wine selection has a strong focus on varietal/single-grape wines form the southern cone of South America.
