Our Red Wines

Red wines are usually created from a base of dark-colored grapes. Many shades and tones of red are the result: from intense violet, typical of young wines, through to brick red for mature wines, to very dark red, almost deep purple, brown or almost black red wines.

This variety of shades originates from the anthocyanin pigments to be found in the skin around the grapes.

Each tone of red compares to similar shades in nature. Think of flowers, think of natural food of comparable colour, and you will be able to associate aromas and scents.
