Collection: Cachapoal Valley
The Cachapoal Valley is a wine growing area in central Chile. The valley's temperate and consistently mediterranean climate, sheltered by the coastal range from the cooling influences of the Pacific Ocean, provides optimal conditions for growing wine grapes. Cabernet Sauvignon is the grape preferred by wineries located towards the east of the region, in the foothills of the Andes. Towards the west of the region, where the influence of ocean breezes flowing through the coastal range is more perceivable, the preferred grape is Carménère.
